Izzy was named for Hurricane Isabel. She is the social director for her family.  She knows  everyone in the neighborhood and visits frequently. She is very vocal, especially if she has accidentally been left outside at night.

Mingus was named for the jazz musician Charles Mingus. He is the "bad boy" of the family.  He likes to hunt and is a master slayer of squirrels.  When he is angry with his human family, he will destroy something belonging to them.

Kitchen Cat is the quietest member of the family. She likes to follow people around the house and to sleep on top of the refrigerator; that's how she got her name. When she's bored, she charges around the house.

Mongo was named for the Cuban jazz musician Mongo Santa Maria.  He has very soft fur and is the smallest member of the family.  Mongo likes to help Mingus catch squirrels and to sleep on the front porch.
